She always had a smile on her face and positive thoughts even on hectic days. Kara loved nursing and had a great compassion for her patients and their families. Kara worked at CVOR at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, AR, until November of 2022. Kara worked at Freeman Health Systems in Joplin, MO, where she was assistant director of CVOR at Freeman Heart Institute until 2019, when she moved to Fayetteville, AR. She graduated from Monett High School in 1999, and received her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing in 2005 from Missouri Southern State University. Kara was born June 21, 1981, in Springfield, MO, the daughter of John and Linda (Westra) Lauderdale. Kara Lynn Harter, age 41, of Fayetteville, AR, entered into her heavenly home Saturday, January 28, 2023. ![]()
